These terms govern your use of copenhagentourism.org. Reading the guides means accepting them. They are written in plain English because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

What this site is
An independent guide to Copenhagen, published for information only. It is not a travel agency, a booking platform, a tour operator or a licensed adviser of any kind. We sell nothing and hold no reservations on your behalf.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every guide here is checked against the operator that sets the price or the timetable, and carries the month it was last reviewed. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and it is still not a guarantee.
Copenhagen moves. Attraction admission changes at the turn of the year. Tivoli publishes new opening seasons. The Metro alters night-service hours. Restaurants close between one visit and the next, sometimes the week after a guide is reviewed. Rejsekort and City Pass fares are revised by the transport authority, not by us.
Before you spend money or plan around a time, confirm it with the operator. The links in each guide go to the official source precisely so that you can. We are not liable for a closed museum, a sold-out show, a missed train, a changed price or a booking made on the strength of something on this site that had gone out of date.
Travel is your own decision
Guides on this site discuss neighbourhood character, late-night areas, cycling rules, weather and safety. That is general observation, not personalised advice, and it does not replace:
- your own government’s current travel advice for Denmark;
- the entry, visa and passport rules that apply to your nationality, which are set by the Danish authorities and can change;
- travel insurance, which is your responsibility and which we do not sell, arrange or recommend by name;
- medical advice of any kind.
Cycling in Copenhagen deserves its own line: the guides describe the rules and the fines because the rules are real and enforced. Riding a bike in a city you don’t know carries risk that no guide can remove. You ride at your own risk.
Money, prices and currency
Prices are quoted in Danish kroner as published by the operator at the time of review. Any conversion to another currency is indicative only — your card issuer’s rate and fees will differ. Denmark is close to cashless in practice, but which cards a specific venue accepts is between you and that venue.

“Copenhagen Tourism Guide” and this site’s design are ours. Names such as Tivoli, DSB, Rejseplanen, Copenhagen Card and Louisiana belong to their respective owners and appear here descriptively. No affiliation or endorsement is implied in either direction.
Links to other sites
Guides link to transport operators, museums, restaurants and public authorities. Those sites are not under our control. We check that a link works and points where we say it does; we do not vouch for what the operator subsequently publishes, charges or does.
Advertising disclosure
This site carries no affiliate links and no paid placements. No business has paid to be recommended, ranked or mentioned, and nothing here earns a commission if you book a hotel, a tour or a flight. The site is funded by display advertising instead: the ads are sold and served by Journey, part of Mediavine. They are visually distinguishable from editorial content, and they have no influence on what the guides recommend. What that advertising does with data is set out in the privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss, cost, disappointment or injury arising from the use of information published here, including anything arising from an inaccuracy, an omission, or an out-of-date figure.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to its courts.
Changes
These terms may be revised; the review date above shows when they last were. Questions go through the contact form.
